I’m thinking about getting hair extensions for volume - just on the sides of my hair?

The extensionist is great and lots of people use her - I’ve seen her put them in, take them out, do highlights, color, etc. She has been helping me learn to style my short chopped up hairdo -that was not her fault by the way. She even cuts the extension hairs in half [...]

In one paragraph,explain how density, mass and volume are related?

Please help. I know if i let people do my homework i’ll never learn. Just please give me the answer.
Mass is an absolute property of matter, describing the amount of matter present. Volume is the property of matter describing the amount of space occupied by the matter. Density is a derived property of [...]

What is the relationship between cell size and the surface area/ to volume ratio?

Mitosis and Meiosis: That is what we are learning so it would have to pertain to that please.
So single cells have only one way to gain nutrients, and that is by diffusion. Diffusion, as you probably already know, is the passages of substances from an area of high concentration to an area of low [...]

If a lake with a volume of 12,100 km^3 has an average temperature of 4 degrees how much heat is in the lake. ?

We’re learning specific heat so that formula needs to be used I just can’t figure out how to apply it.
On a second note is there a formula that converts cal/g K to J/mol K
In the first place, this is NONSENSE question.
We never attempt to compute the "total amount of heat" in a substance. [...]

A quantity of oxygen occupies a volume of 31.5 L at STP. How many moles of oxygen are present?

Thanks for help with these gas law questions; a little hard to learn on my own.
STP means :
p = 1 atm
T = 273 K
pV = nRT
n = pV / RT = 1 x 31.5 / 0.0821 x 273 = 1.41 mol

Why does round pizza come in a square box?

I’m seriously wondering this. I’ve been learning about maximizing volume vs. surface area, and I have no idea why they still come in square boxes.
Is it a cost/benefit thing? Does it cost less to manufacture square boxes rather than circular boxes?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Cheers everyone ^_^
Any SERIOUS insight.
I would think [...]

What are "pores" and what does "volume" mean in hair?? Im serious!! 10 points?

Ok, this mght be a weird question because almost everyone knows but I don’t. We all have to learn from some where. I know pores are bad and its in yuor face.
10 points.
Thankyou all for the answers id give you thumbs up but im not leval 2 yet pores are the tiny little holes [...]

What’s the formula to calculate the dead lion’s volume ? No logic, It’s a single mathematical joke…

This is a mathematical joke I learned when studying at secondary school. Good luck !
Ex Rex?

HELPPP. What are the dimensions for the maximum volume of the box?? ASAP?

An open box, with no lid and with a square base is to be made of 400cm^2 of metal. What are the dimensions for the maximum volume of the box?
Im trying to learn how to do these questions and others alike so whoever posts the best explanation with steps will recieve best answer and thank [...]
