I’m trying to figure the connection between the lingo and Macromedia Director. Does Macromedia Director know how to read the lingo?
Yes - Lingo is the name of the script language that earlier version of Director interpreted. I believe it has been replaced with Action Script.

You should try searching it through some P2P program: Shareaza, eMule etc. You usually find SW there too…

yes but you will need to use extra video editing software in order to do that (before you can import it into director)
