Can’t see back button on internet screen of computer! ways to restore to default?

So a while back I was doing something with my computer and I haven’t been able to see the back button of my internet computer screen and just learned to deal with it. But it has been bugging me a lot lately and I also can only see "avorites" in the favorites tab. I was wondering if there was anyway to fix my internet screen to regular settings or what? HELP!

Try downloading an alternative browser such as Firefox from Mozilla.com - It’s better than Explorer anyway.

I wrote this assuming you use Explorer, sorry if you don’t.
