What are the benefits of learning japanese?
January 18th, 2010 | by admin |So, I’m learning the basics of the language right now and I’ve been wondering what the benefits would be. I’m planning on breaking into the game industry in a few years. I’m also looking for a good or better program on learning japanese.
It looks good on a resume. Also if you plan on working with Japanese gaming companies, that Japanese knowledge is going to help. I have a friend who is studying Japanese with me who is into music composing (for games etc) and he is learning it to go to Japan and I’m sure he wants to some day work for the the gaming industry’s top Japanese companies. If you want to do that too, learning the language is surely going to help you some day.
It’s also good if you have a natural liking of the language, or enjoy watching anime and reading manga. Translating can also be a fun pass time.
In summary, you should go for it. Seek a classroom learning environment (tafe course etc). It’s way better than any program can teach and a lot more fun. Japanese is a very nice language, I love it alot.

If you plan on going in to business, learning japanese, can be a strong point in your curriculum for a job.
Learning languages is always a good thing now a days
