What are the benefits of learning other languages besides English?
August 31st, 2009 | by admin |I’m currently learning french, which I’d like to be able to learn other languages after I can speak fluently. What languages do you suggest would be easy for me once I speak English and French?
Also, what are the most practical languages to learn and why?
Well since you’re learning French I highly recommend you go to the other Romantic languages since the grammar and vocabulary is usually the same but modified. I study many languages and it becomes more and more easier and fun to learn them knowing there are so many similarities (this applies to romance languages only though).
1. Spanish
2. Portuguese
3. Italian
Also the rarer variations such as:
1. Catalán
2. Romania… (sorry I forgot the name of their language…)
As for English… you could go into German since they’re from the same family, although it’s much harder than studying the Romantic languages. Good luck!

Well the benefits of learning a language is good for jobs. People nowadays usually look for people who are bilingual. Those that speak more than one language(multilingual) can get jobs anywhere, just because of the language skills. I think you should learn Spanish because it’s an easy language and many spanish people live in America and jobs pay good money for bilinguals. Also it’s easier to lear Pourtoguese and italian. You’ll be multilingual by then..hope i helped
