What is a good website to help a beginner learn Java?

October 28th, 2009 | by admin |

I have a background in HTML & CSS coding, and I think that is causing me to have a hard time picking up on Java for a class I’m taking. A few problems I have is that my book only uses psuedocode, not actual Java code; I’m in a distance learning program, so getting a tutor from the school isn’t easy with my work schedule also. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for those recommendations. I’ll give them a try. I had been using Javabeginner.com and some of it was helping some of it was way over my head.
