What do I practice after learning basic open chords and scales for beginning acoustic guitar?

just learn whatever you can find lessons for.i learned tabs first just so i could play the songs i liked and just practiced songs. but later on i learned chords and etc.

finger picking.
Get a music book of tablature and pick the chords with your fingers.
Also get a metronome and do your scales to a beat.
