How can I get sound back on my laptop??? my volume is on max - but no sound, I have winXP Please HELP!!!!!!!!!

January 18th, 2010 | by admin |

I watch a lot of internet television, especially channels from Poland as I am engaged to a polish woman and I would like to learn the language more, could this have something to do with the loss of sound on my laptop???

Step one: Download soundcard device drivers from your laptop manufacturer’s website

Step two: Install the new drivers (either they will be in executable form - double click to install, or zip form - use Device Manager to update your drivers

Step three: Call your manufacturer’s tech support number if steps one or two fail.

You didn’t by chance mute the sound did you? Check this by double clicking on your sound speaker icon by the system time.

click on volume icon in taskbar and unmute sound.

also you may have a keyboard that can mute sound in the upper right there’s icons on some keys that make sound go up and down and mute. press those with Ctrl button

Probably some problem occurred to your Audio Driver… Try reinstalling it… How old is your laptop? anothor possibility is that your laptop’s speaker may be at fault…
One thing is for sure that it has nothing to do with your engagement…!
