how about director or switch. is available to?

Click "Applications" > "Add/Remove". Select "All available applications" from drop down. Search for flash and click checkbox Macromedia flash. Also check "ubuntu-restricted-extras" it will install all the proprietary plugins you might need like mp3 support, java etc..

    open terminal and type

    sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

I’m sure you will also need Java, so instead of typing the command above, you can just type

    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

this will install all codecs , java, flash.

I have no idea about director and switch.

This is a good place to ask http://ubuntuforums.org/
