The majority of society has trouble falling asleep and the first thing many of them do is go to the doctor to get some drugs to help. However, this is not only expensive, but it can be very dangerous to your help. What you need to do is first check the environment you sleep in. There are some small tweaks that you can make that will have a huge impact on your ability to get a great nights sleep.

First, make sure you make your bedroom for one or two things… sleep and some intimacy time with your spouse. If you use your bed to read, watch TV, play with kids, then you will find that you brain has in issue falling asleep there. Simply associating it with a place to sleep will help drastically.

Second, make sure you have the right temperature. This matter not only for the temperature in the room, but also the temperature in the bed. Using silk sheets will drastically help you regulate your temperature… not to mention fight allergies if you suffer from those.

Third, make sure it’s pitch dark. It’s amazing, but the smallest amount of light can disrupt your sleep. Make sure you have all the lights off and even hide your alarm clock so that dim light won’t disturb you.

Fourth, take 10 minutes before you go to bed to clear you mind. Empty it of all your worries and thoughts. One thing you can do that will be tremendously helpful is learn some breathing techniques. When I started breathing techniques, I found I could fall asleep very quickly.

Use these secrets and watch yourself get the best nights sleep ever. But you have to use them and don’t go running straight to the doctor.
